Twisted Posters Pt 2

Building on the success of my previous design sprint, where I visually translated the enchanting narratives of Disney's Twisted Series into three distinct posters, I have now completed a Part 2. This time, I delved into the timeless tales of Cinderella, Robin Hood, and The Sword in the Stone. Each poster is crafted with the same meticulous attention to detail and passion for Brutalism, capturing the essence of these twisted tales. By weaving together iconic characters and evocative scenes, these new designs continue to pay vibrant homage to the magical tales that have inspired generations.

The Idea Behind the Posters

In this latest series, I employed more vibrant, evocative colors and harsher imagery to intensify the visual impact. Key book-to-visual alterations are highlighted with a Brutalist-inspired raw aesthetic, while a simplified layout maintains clear visual hierarchy.

These posters not only celebrate the transformative nature of these classic tales but also demonstrate my commitment to blending bold design with compelling storytelling. Explore the refreshed world of Twisted, where design and narrative collide in fresh and unexpected ways.

Reflecting on this project, it has been a rewarding experience to revisit and expand upon the Disney's Twisted Series. Reimagining these classic tales with a new perspective allowed me to build upon the foundation laid by the initial designs, further exploring and enhancing the visual narrative. It was gratifying to delve deeper into the stories of Cinderella, Robin Hood, and The Sword in the Stone, and to experiment with more vivid colours and intense imagery.

This continuation of the series not only reinforced my connection to these timeless stories but also offered a fresh creative challenge that enriched my design process.
